• Disinfecting: Kills most of the germs on a surface (which is why you see on product labels 99.9% effective against germs).
• Sterilizing: Kills all germs on a service and provides a sterile environment.

Recommended Products for Each Category:

• Cleaner:
○ White Water Neutral Cleaner
○ Portion Pac Neutral Cleaner

• Sanitizing:
○ Envirox (requires plumbed dilution centers)

• Disinfecting:
○ PortionPac (does not require plumbed dilution centers)
○ Envirox (requires plumbed dilution centers)

• Sterilizing
○ GreenKlean Chlorinated Tablets
○ Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI)

Normal Cleaning Recommendations:

All buildings should be cleaned with either disposable microfiber mops / rags, or reusable microfiber mops / rags that are washed at the CDC recommended 160 degrees F (71*C) for at least 25 minutes.

All non-critical surfaces should be sanitized using Envirox as the sanitizing dilution ratio and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. Non-critical surfaces are walls, ceilings, vents, or other areas that are typically out of reach from a person touching them.

All critical surfaces should be disinfected using Envirox or Portion Pac disinfectants and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. Critical surfaces include all horizontal surfaces, door handles, light switches, arm rest, tables, and other surfaces that are commonly touched by people.

Once a month, GreenKlean should be used to sterilize all critical surfaces and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. After the surface is dry, the surface needs to be wiped down using either White Water or Portion Pac Neutral Cleaner. This will help protect the surfaces from corrosion over time.

Carpets should be cleaned using Envirox disinfectant instead of typical chemicals designed to deodorize the carpet.

Suspected Case of Infectious Disease / Virus:

• ALL SURFACES (critical and non-critical) need to be disinfected using Envirox or Portion Pac disinfectants and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. Then the surfaces need to be sterilized with GreenKlean and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. After the surface is dry, the surface needs to be wiped with either White Water or Portion Pac Neutral Cleaner.

Confirmed Cases of Infectious Disease / Virus

• ALL SURFACES (critical and non-critical) need to be disinfected using Envirox or Portion Pac disinfectants and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. Then the surfaces need to be sterilized with GreenKlean and allowed to dwell for 10 minutes before drying. After the surface is dry, the surface needs to be wiped with either White Water or Portion Pac Neutral Cleaner.
